Another captain tonight said I have an impressive soup strainer. He suggested I apply for a shaving waiver just to see how Grizzly Adamsesque I look. Also suggested a stint in the OSI just so Special Agent Atkins doesn't have to shave. Unfortunately I won't do the former since I'd just have to fill out a DA Form IMT WF1 Hurt Feelings Report once the denial comes back and I won't do the latter since I'd never look as good as this special agent.

I was done work early tonight so I finally rearranged my room for the third time, back to its original setup. Key factors in a transient room: turn off light with toes while in bed reading, turn off A/C unit without leaving over top bunk, access both lockers without squeezing past bunkbed, see what I am reading with full blast of artificial, bad for my eyes and leptin level fluorescent light and dry towel on string stretched between lockers rather than across back of desk chair.
Was feeling a bit under the weather tonight, most likely due to the hot peppers on the plate above. Stuck to my deadlifts:
Warmup: 10 bodweight chinups
Workout: 5-315, 5-315, 5-315, 3-365, 2-365
Cooldown: 8 bodweight chinups
Not much improvement from 10 August and my shins are bloody to show it. I am considering investing in chalk (very humid in the gym), shin sleeves (I've read that improving my form will prevent this) and some branch chain amino acids (BCAAs). Not to be confused with branch chain Kamino acids. The only BCAAs at the BX contained acesulfame potassium and sucralose, so taking that powder before a workout would be like eschewing grains but drinking Red Bull everyday. Actually, considering I have no control over the cooking at the DFAC, maybe the above might not be that bad.
Speaking of the "you can only have two breakfast sausages" DFAC...
